The African Muzik Magazine Awards AFRIMMA kicked off last year to a worldwide attention with the world paying attention to the large contingent of African artists who congregated at the Eissemann Center in Dallas, to celebrate the best of African music and African music stars.Nigerian Pop singer Davido won the African ‘Artiste of the Year‘ at AFRIMMA 2014 making it a remarkable third time the talented singer was name dArtiste of the Year by different awards bodies in same year. Davido beat the likes of Wizkid, Flavour, Ghana’s Sarkodie, SA’s Mafikizolo and Tanzania’s Diamond to clinch the award.
The biggest African Muzik Awards in Diaspora had the big African Stars like Flavour, Diamond Platnumz , Togar Howard ,Serge Bearnaud, Stanley Enow, Wyre, Alaine, Khuli Chana, the African King of Pop and International superstar T-pain dazzle on the stage with electrifying performances. Other performances on the night include Kukere master Iyanya, Khuli Chana, Kcee and more.
All is now set for the second edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards AFRIMMA and the countdown to 10.10.15 is on already as it is going to be an October to remember for the African music industry and practitioners.
